To add Cisco Firepower threat defense FTD to eve-ng use below steps Cisco FTD is one of the best Security product of today, and In CCIE Security v6 Cisco FTD will be used in LAB and Eve-NG has made our task easy, you can prepare/practice complete CCIE Lab in EVE-NG.
To add Cisco Firepower threat defense FTD to eve-ng, will follow the below steps-
1. Download Cisco FTD Image-

Alternate link
2. Upload the image to EVE-NG using FileZilla or Win SCP
3. Fix the permission and enjoy
SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create a temporary working directory on the EVE’s root:
mkdir /root/tmp/
Upload the downloaded Cisco_Firepower_Threat_Defense_Virtual-6.2.0-362.qcow2 image to the /root/tmp/ using FileZilla or WinSCP.
Create a new image folder:
mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/firepower6-FTD-6.2.0-362
From cli go to::
cd /root/tmp/
Rename and move image to target directory:
mv Cisco_Firepower_Threat_Defense_Virtual-6.2.0-362.qcow2 /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/firepower6-FTD-6.2.0-362/hda.qcow2
Remove tmp source directory
rm -rf /root/tmp
Go To your EVE-NG add FTD Node and start it
WARNING ! These images are very heavy, and to run you will need servers with a minimum 8 Core CPUs!!!
After Installation obtains FirePower demo licenses from Cisco using your CCO and installed management center MAC address.
what is log and pass for your image?

Can we run these images on any common personal laptop core i5/i7 generation more than 4 with 12gb ram ? Or is it dangerous for our CPU ? Is it heavy resource consuming ?
You Can run the images on your laptop but it will consume a lot of resources. so its always advisable to use a server or laptop with CPU and memory.
once you copy an image into Eve-Eng, you need to refresh the database. you probably forgot. but you need to add below command:
unetlab/wrappers/unl/_wrapper -a fixpermissions
